Don Higgins had his first article published in North American Whitetail magazine in 1998 and has since written numerous articles for most of the major hunting magazines. In 2006 Don published his first book, "Hunting Trophy Whitetails in the Real World" (see www.higginsoutdoors.com) which has been well recieved by the biggest names in the hunting industry as well as everyday deer hunters across North America. When not hunting whitetails or writing about them, Don enjoys creating quality habitat on his own land as well as for others. In fact Don owns and operates Higgins Tree Farm which specializes in conservation tree planting projects for CRP, WRP and other government programs. Don has planted literally millions of trees on thousands of acres for a multitude of landowners and government agencies. Higgins Tree Farm also supplies seedlings to numerous landowners for planting on their properties. Don is excited to team up with Tom Mesnard of Total Land Management as he feels that they compliment each other and together will have the experience and knowledge to improve the habitat and whitetail hunting on virtually any property.

Tom and Colt are two of Michigan 's most consistent deer hunters. In Michigan alone in just the last 10 years, Tom Mesnard has taken 14 trophy bucks and Colt White has 7 to his credit.

These two guys take Land Management and hunting trophy bucks to the extreme spending close to 300 days a year hunting, developing new land management techniques and setting up clients hunting lands, as well as their own hunting lands in Southern Michigan, Western Indiana, Northern Ohio, Kentucky and Iowa

They specialize in small hunting lands. As many of their own hunting properties are from 100 acres down to 10 acres in size. We can show you how to set up and manage your hunting properties so you too, can harvest the bucks of your dreams year after year just like us.
